The cost of Spitex services is comprised of two parts: the contribution from the health insurance provider and your personal co-payment. Insured services such as basic care, treatment care, and assessment/counseling are covered by mandatory basic insurance (KVG). You only pay a co-payment of CHF 7.65 to CHF 15.35 per day, depending on the canton. This amount is independent of the duration and frequency of use. Services not covered by insurance, such as individual support, night supervision, or 24-hour care, are billed separately. These can sometimes be financed through supplementary insurance, disability benefits, or supplementary benefits. We would be happy to advise you on your options. For children up to 18 years of age and services covered by disability insurance (IV), co-payments are waived.
